Volunteer Encounter LogoFor the past couple of months, I and the team from Volunteer Encounter has been working tirelessly to get their website built and launch for the world to see.

I am proud and happy to announce that the website is now live on the internet.

Volunteer Encounter for VE for manage and book volunteering projects all over Africa.

Visit the website

As the website is now live on the internet, it would be great if you all could go and visit the website and share your feedback on the website.

Currently, we have projects in Zimbabwe & Zambia on the website but we are in the process of adding more projects around the African continent.

Volunteering around Africa

Volunteering is a trendy way to see the world. While you visit a country, you are giving back to the communities and helping through your desired project.

Volunteer projects help the communities & wildlife within the area you have selected to visit, and plans start from 2 weeks to 12 weeks.

Volunteering Projects are divided into 6 different categories:

  • Wildlife Conservation Projects
  • Community Development Projects
  • Combination Projects
  • Photography Projects
  • Horse Management Projects
  • Tourism & Hospitality Projects

Biggest & best Volunteering website

Working with the Volunteer Encounter team, I know there is a massive passion for wildlife conservation and community development around Africa and the projects that are showcased on the VE website are ones that they believe are doing an amazing job.

The plan for the company is to become the best and most authoritative volunteering website in Africa with plans to grow into South Africa in the coming future.

They are also leading the way to expand into countries around Africa where there is a real need for outside volunteers to come and lend their hand and Go Mad (Make A Difference).

Volunteering at Antelope Park, Zimbabwe

Below is a short video about a volunteer at Antelope Park in Zimbabwe by a gentleman called Ram who is an award-winning TV writer-producer with over 20 years of experience working with brands like Discovery Channel, NBC Universal and HBO among many others.

Amazing!

Benefits of Volunteering

During the website development of this website, I got to learn about volunteering and also the benefits of volunteering projects for wildlife conservation as well as the communities around the projects.

I can honestly say, volunteering is worthwhile and does not deserve the bad press it gets.

Here are some of the benefits:

  • Wildlife conservation
  • Communities improve through development
  • Schools are built for communities
  • Volunteering can benefit your career
  • Meet new and like-minded friends, while making a difference
  • Learn new skills through your volunteering project
  • Visit amazing countries around Africa
  • and the list goes on…

Volunteering around Africa is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever experience.
